Current Accreditation
Status:
Accredited on Improvement
Each school is assigned its accreditation status based upon the extent to
which the school has met the quality criteria and the performance criteria
or demonstrated the required increase in overall student achivement as
required in Kansas regulations 91-31-32.

ACCREDITED
|
"Accredited" means the school
-
meets the minimum performance and quality criteria established by the state
board
|
|
ACCREDITED ON IMPROVEMENT
|
"Accredited on improvement" means that, for two consecutive years
-
the school fails to meet one or more of the performance criteria, and failed to
demonstrate the required increase in overall student achievement
-
a percentage of students in one or more subgroups on the state assessment fails
to meet one or more of the performance criteria

the school fails to meet three or more of the quality criteria

CONDITIONALLY ACCREDITED
|
"Conditionally accredited" means that, for three consecutive years

a percentage of all students fall below the proficient level on the state
assessments and failed to demonstrate the required increase in overall student
achievement.

the school fails to meet four or more of the quality criteria

|
NOT ACCREDITED
|
"Not accredited" means that, for five consecutive years

a percentage of all students fall below the proficient level on the state
assessments and failed to demonstrate the required increase in overall student
achievement.
